Is there a possibility that we artists will gain publicity while students and people go back to their normal lives?
There are many assumptions that students in grade 12 & 7 in South Africa will be returning to school on the 1st of June and many are still unsure whether its safe or not, but the main question is that will there still be a possibility for new and fresh artists to ‘market’ their music or even gain publicity and the answer is yes. Upcoming artists can and will most definitely gain publicity if they publicize their name, projects or tracks.”what I normally like to say to myself since I’m a “fresh artist” is you make a unique name for yourself and make sure the people hear your art no matter how bad or good it is, we all start somewhere…”
As long as you have your equipment, lyrics and yourself, you are good to go. Just focus, elaborate and manifest. Students are also on the edge about going back to school because of the pandemic trauma and are still unsure about examination that where lately announced to be moved to December. Angie Motshegka says in her interview “the virus will be in our day to day life…”,we can only know that our lives could be at stake if we do not practice hygiene. “All I can say to us, students, is we should just calm down, see the process as it is and just work as hard.”
